Q: How will I know that you received my application?
A: All applicants typically receive an email from Frontline notifying them that their application went through.  In addition, the proper individuals receive a notification once you apply to the posting.  If you meet the qualifications for the position, you will be contacted for an interview.

Q: When and how will I be contacted for an interview?
A: We will contact you with the information you provide on your resume or online application.  Please ensure your email and phone number listed are updated and accurate.

Q: I want to become a substitute teacher, but there is no posting.
A: Once we have a large pool of substitute teachers, the posting will be closed.  This ensures that there are available assignments for our current substitute pool to select.  Once we have a need for more substitute teachers, we will re-open the posting on Frontline.

Q: Where can I find information on how to become certified?
A: The New Jersey Department of Education website offers information about certification requirements needed to obtain any certification.  There is also a "certification" link on the HR page that gives more detailed information.

Q: Can I work in multiple Part Time positions?
A:All part-time employees must monitor their hours worked and remain under the 29 hours/week threshold.

Q: How many days can I be absent before I'm required to go on a leave of absence?
A: On the 11th absence, we require additional leave of absence paperwork to be completed.  All communications regarding absences should be made to the school's main office and the HR department.
