Upcoming events:
Bus Orientations: We are excited to welcome our new preschool students who will be taking the bus this year! To ensure a smooth and comfortable start, we have scheduled bus orientation sessions on the following dates:
December 9 - 11: 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Location: Please meet in the Walnut Ridge Bus Driveway.
During the orientation, your child will:
Meet the bus drivers
Learn about bus safety rules
Practice boarding and exiting the bus
Take a short ride to get familiar with the experience
We look forward to seeing you and helping your child have a great start to the school year!

We are excited to open our doors to full day preschool on December 16 and we know you are just as eager as we are to get started. Here are a few updates:
Teacher assignments: Were emailed today, December 6.
Back to School Night: It’s September in December and we will be having a Back to School Night on Thursday, December 12. We look forward to a night where you can learn more about the preschool program and have a meet and greet with your child’s teacher. We will have a special tag for your child to wear on the first day of school on 12/16. Times were included in the emailed letter with teacher assignments.
Important Reminders:
Reminder: Our classrooms are Peanut/Tree Nut Responsible. To ensure the safety of all students, please send a pre-packaged snack or a snack with a clearly labeled list of ingredients for your child. Snacks must not contain peanuts or tree nuts. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment!
Reminder for student pick up: Please remember to log into the Genesis system to schedule your child's pick-up arrangements. For a step-by-step guide, watch this instructional video.

Walnut Ridge Parent/Caregiver Survey Understanding and Improving School Attendance: To ensure that our school can best support your child and improve student attendance, we kindly ask that you complete the following survey.
