Dear Vernon Township School District Community,
We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for our free, full-day preschool program for three, and four-year-old children in Vernon Township. This opportunity is made possible through the state-funded Preschool Expansion Aid, which enables us to expand our program and provide this valuable educational experience at no cost to families.
Eligible children must turn three on or before October 1, 2024, to enroll. We encourage all interested families to complete the registration process as soon as possible, as seats are limited. The deadline for registration is November 1, 2024. Students already enrolled in the program are guaranteed a spot for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. All other applicants will be placed into a lottery system for available openings. The lottery will be conducted on November 14, 2024, during the Board of Education work session. Children not selected in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list for future openings.
