We are seeing more and more students coming to school without chromebooks or with chromebooks in need of a charge. Please do all you can at home to make sure that students have charged chromebooks when they come to school.
If you are a parent who comes to Lounsberry for PAL basketball, please check the lost and found in the main office lobby because it is overflowing.
Remember if you are picking up your child at the end of the school day please enter it in Genesis or call the main office before noon.
As temperatures drop, we will continue to go outside so please make sure your children come to school dressed for recess.

The Media Specialist at High Point High School works with a group of elementary school Media Specialists around the county on an event called One Book, One Community Young Authors' Conference. This community event is geared towards students with an interest in writing. They have offered to open it up to Vernon school students to attend. SchoolStore Fundraiser
I want to personally thank all the families who have already participated in our SchoolStore program! We are on our way to reaching our goal, but we need everyone's help to make sure our teachers get the essential tools they need to help our students succeed.
If your family has not participated, there's still time!
This safe and easy program is 100% online so there is no face-to-face selling, collecting money, or delivering products. Your child will receive a prize just for participating, and more prizes will be awarded when goals are reached.
