I hope that all of our students and their families have a nice and relaxing Spring Break. School resumes on Monday, April 8th and Friday, April 12th is an early dismissal day for students - Teacher Professional Development.
Marking Period 3 ends on April 11th.
I recently shared with you our point system for upcoming trips. I wanted to share those trip and activity dates with you. More information on our trips will be coming after Spring Break.
4th and 5th Grade Dance - April 26
5th Grade Miners Trip - May 15
4th Grade Sterling Mine Trip - May 15 and 16 (half the grade will go each day)
4th and 5th Grade Field Day - May 24
5th Grade Museum Village - June 3
We are also heading into testing season. We will be doing some enrichment activities with students to help them prepare. Students will be working on these activities during their period 8 classes. NJSLA testing dates are as follows: I recently shared with you our point system for upcoming trips.

LHSCA Glow Dance - The last dance of the year is Friday, April 26th and it’s a Glow Dance! Permission slips went home already but you can sign up via cheddar up and skip the paperwork! Interested in volunteering? You can do that here.
Save the Date: Spring Shop April 30th - May 2nd. Similar to the Holiday Shop, students will have the opportunity to shop during lunch period for items $10 and under for upcoming Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or for someone special!

If you are picking up your children at the end of the school day, please enter it in Genesis or call the main office before noon.
The lost and found is overflowing. Please have your children check in the cafeteria for any lost items. Any unclaimed items will be donated.
Remember that we will continue to go outside for recess, so please make sure your children are dressed for the weather.
